the wind here is ridiculous.
the weekend has finally arrived and so i can stop clenching my teeth and have a little bit of time dedicated towards relaxation and fun. tonight i'm heading to columbia in order to catch a wolf parade concert. it should be fun, and my only regret is that it will cost me $15 and i'm a little strapped for cash right now.

halloween weekend was less than enjoyable. while i did get to dress up as both a gold digger (in the kanye west sense) and marty mcfly, there was a lot of unecessary drama. most of that drama was encouraged and fueled by the copious intake of alcohol by the involved parties. being sober granted the advantage of being able to have better control over the situations, but it also came with the consequence of being able to recall everything that happened. there are portions of my life that i sometimes would like to just move on and forget about.

basically, i'm just trying to keep striving until thanksgiving. then i'll get some peace for a short while.
